Hyperthyroidism in Cats: A Guide to Symptoms, Diagnosis, and Treatment

Hey Pet Pals,

This month's blog post hits close to home for me. I just took my darling 15-year-old Maine Coon mix, Draco, to his annual senior wellness visit. He's the sweetest boy, all fluff and purrs, and I didn't really notice any big changes. Still, I opted for a senior wellness blood panel as part of his routine exam, and to my surprise, the results came back showing he has hyperthyroidism.

Since the signs were so subtle with him, I wanted to share our story and a general guide to the condition. It's my hope that by sharing what I've learned, I can help you spot the signs in your own furry family members.
